Having trouble attracting and keeping the best subcontractors and talent?  Subcontractors in todays market can pick and choose who they work for so in addition to paying on-time and a competitive wage why not try gratitude and respect.  The same goes for your team.  I have daily conversations with senior level homebuilding talent and the biggest reason they are open to opportunities is that they want to feel like they are appreciated/respected by their company and that they are being developed.  Compensation is a factor but rarely at the top of the list.
